3.Required for business establishment..
4.Required for other businesses or financial institutions such as lending, loan or financing.
5.It certify that you are living or residing in a certain barangay.
 

Getting a Barangay Clearance – Procedure

The following are the steps in getting barangay Clearance:

Go to the Barangay Hall or Municipal Office and tell the officer you will need Barangay Clearance. They will ask you for what purpose you will use it so you must tell them the reasons – employment, ID requirement, Police Clearance requirement, Postal ID, Affidavits, etc.

 

-Show your Cedula.

-If you don’t have one yet, you can just get one at the Barangay too.

-Pay the necessary fees.

The head is called the Barangay Captain, but today, under the Local Government Code, he is called the Punong Barangay.

You need to get a Barangay Business Clearance or Barangay permit first, before securing a Mayor’s Permit. It one of the requirements for securing Mayor’s Permit. The following are the requirements and steps in getting a Barangay Clearance:

Steps and procedures:

       Fill out the application form

    • Go to the designated Barangay Hall.

    • Go to the permit department and ask for the application form for business permit and fill it out.

    • Submit the accomplished application form together with the other requirements.

    • Assessment

    • Wait for the assessment. Normally, it takes 15 to 30 minutes.

    • Payment

    • Get the assessed application.

    • Pay the corresponding amount at the cashier.

    • Receiving

    • Submit the paid application.

    • Release

    • After receiving the paid application, wait for the release.
